Today's regulatory reporting, and tomorrow's
We have implemented some of the reporting requirements in force (Basel IV, ESG, SHS…), and are already preparing the next ones: involvement in the BIRD community, anticipation of the IReF reform.
A methodology for using AI in data model mapping
Mapping work, particularly for regulatory purposes, is long, repetitive and error-prone. We offer a method where AI prepares the case and proves each statement, the business expert decides, and decisions are captured for the next cases.
MAPSTER — using AI to accelerate the mapping of banking data models
Project under developmentAligning a banking data model with a target framework is long, repetitive and error-prone work, yet it determines the quality of all regulatory reporting. MAPSTER is a decision-support tool that accelerates this mapping, with the BIRD standard (Banks' Integrated Reporting Dictionary, the ECB's reference dictionary) as its first field of application. The principle: AI amplifies the business expert's productivity without ever replacing them.
AI prepares the case. It produces a complete reading of the case: every statement about the target model is proven by tool-based enumeration of its structure and by reading the official definitions. Every doubtful point is logged in an arbitration file.
The expert decides. Arbitrations are processed in batches, the reading is validated, and the expert's decisions are captured as reusable doctrines that speed up the next cases.
The set-up combines an implementation of the BIRD model, enumeration and control scripts, a viewer for the readings, and a corpus of doctrines that grows with every case processed.Designed for BIRD, the method and tooling apply to any mapping problem between banking data models: core banking migration, alignment with a group data standard, feeding a new regulatory report, and more.Have a mapping project in mind?
